On purchase ,was a little disillusioned with no settings on this shower head.Once I used it I was impressed with its refreshing spray with low water pressure!!!Its a keeper for sure
In fact,before The Sharper Image went out of business,they did charge twice as much for this same model. Fortunately,I save a bundle at Amazon and get a great shower. I can't say enough good things about Oxygenics showerheads. I first experienced one at a hotel and it was so surprisingly invigorating that I wrote down the name and looked it up as soon as I got home. I've tried lots of different "shower massage" type products but none of them ever had any settings which felt as energizing and cleansing (while also saving water) as Oxygenics.
It's true that there is plastic behind the chrome,but it's durable enough without being heavy to hold in your hand. Oxygenics has revised their instructions to better explain the flow regulator (which an earlier reviewer mentioned as confusing). It is definitely not obvious from looking at it,so if you have guests using your shower,you might want to mention it.
Installation was very easy (and this is coming from someone who has trouble replacing an air conditioning filter). Due to the angle of the mounting bracket,the first couple of inches of hose are angled away from you,so it might have been nice for the hose to be just a tiny bit longer,but it's still a reasonably convenient length.
I cannot imagine ever going back to any other showerhead. If you don't decide to buy this model,you should at least buy one of Oxygenics' non-handheld models. They are simply amazing,and I plan to buy more as Christmas gifts.
I've had my Oxygenics handheld showerhead for many years,having bought it elsewhere for more money,long before it was offered at Amazon. I'm still using the first one I purchased,with no problems,no leaks. I did use 'plumber's tape' when I installed it. I LOVE the water pressure it gives me and it's spray pattern. I like the sleek look of it. I hope never to be without my Oxygenics!
This showerhead is amazing. The only drawback that I have found to it is I don't want to leave the shower!
Yes,it makes the most of low water pressure. Yes,it gives a very satisfying shower. And,yes,the company's customer service rep is a doll. No,I would not recommend this product: every fitting leaks! The hose has sprung a leak!
