This product is great to have. Here in Los Angeles you can smell the water,but after using this product I feel healthier and I can tell the difference in my hair and skin. Good price too! Cheaper than the hardware store that I was buying them from.
This shower head filter has made an enormous difference on my skin and hair. I have terrible eczema and extreme dry skin in the winter--I can't tell you how much money I have spent in my life on body wash,moisturizers,etc. But I think all along my biggest problem was the quality of the water. Now I hardly use any moisturizer and can actually use BAR soap...if you have dry skin or eczema,you should know what a coup this is! I can also see a HUGE difference when I take a shower elsewhere,like visiting my mom's--it feels like I have an itchy sweater on when I don't use the filter!
I could immediately feel the difference in water quality when I recently replace the filter after 9 months (about 3 overdue). The water is especially contaminated where I live in Orlando so this is essential and makes the water feel,work,and taste better. I highly recommend it.
In my municipality,the water is chlorinated pretty heavy. When I took hot showers,my skin would itch and breathing all the chlorine steam was no good either. I have been using this product for 2 years now and think it is great. If you can't afford or install a whole house filtration system,than this is for you. Of course you need the head to go along with it.
